Word on the Street: Spring Semester in Full Swing

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY — With the spring semester in full swing, LU students are eager to set new goals for the new semester. Even though the semester just began, students’ expectations are high. Recently, we took to the streets to ask students: “How do you plan to make this semester better than last semester?”

“I plan to make this semester better than last semester by getting more involved, not procrastinating, and making sure I eat breakfast everyday.” Mya Bursey, sophomore, psychology, East Saint Louis, Ill.
“I plan to make this semester better than last semester by being more diligent.” Justin Adams, junior, psychology, Kansas City, Mo.
“I’m going to make this semester better than last semester by managing my time better and prioritizing the important things first.” Imani Bigsy, sophomore, sports wellness and management, Kansas City, Mo.
“I plan to get more active on campus by being more social and talking to more people.” Brenae Wade, freshman, elementary education, Kansas City, Mo.
“I plan to make this semester better than last semester by managing my time better, having a positive attitude, and not getting discouraged by every little mistake.” Mikayla Scully, sophomore, english education, Jefferson City, Mo.
